Tunnels

The menu bar apps for MacOS provides a list of active tunnels at a glance. For each tunnel, you can see the following details:

  • Tunnel ID: A unique identifier for the tunnel.
  • Type: The type of tunnel (Port Forwarding, SSH, SFTP, File Manager).
  • Left and Right Endpoint: The endpoints involved in the tunnel and thier details.
  • Status: The current status of the tunnel, which can be either "Active" or "Inactive".
  • Actions: Options to manage the tunnel, such as:
    • Delete: Remove the tunnel from the list.

The tunnels are categorized as:

  • Port Forwarding Tunnels: Tunnels that forward traffic from one endpoint to another.
  • SSH Tunnels: Tunnels that allow secure shell access to a remote endpoint.
  • SFTP Tunnels: Tunnels that allow secure file transfer between endpoints.
  • File Manger Tunnels: Tunnels that present a dual-pane file manager interface for easy file transfer between endpoints.
