Endpoints

An endpoint corresponds to a machine running the Portola app.

This section displays a list of all your provisioned endpoints with following details:

  • Endpoint ID: A unique identifier for the endpoint.
  • Hostname: The hostname of the machine running the Portola app.
  • Agent Version: The version of the Portola app running on the endpoint.
  • Status: The online status of the endpoint, which can be either "Online" or "Offline".
  • Last Online: The last time the endpoint was seen online.
  • Actions: Options to manage the endpoint, such as:
    • Caffeinate: Keep the endpoint awake. This is valid for MacOS endpoints only and prevents the machine from going to sleep if the machine is plugged in. If the machine is not online, it will be be caffeinated when it comes online (which can take upto an hour depending on Power settings).

To view the configured tunnels for an Endpoint, click on the endpoint. This will display:

  • Tunnels: A list of active tunnels for the endpoint, categorized by type (Port Forwarding, SSH, SFTP, File Manager). You can delete these tunnels using Delete action.
  • Export: Shows all exports from the given endpoint.

You can manage your endpoints on the console at Portola Console.
